The Campervan Cookbook
At last! We thought the day would never come when The Camper Van Cookbook would get released by Saltyard Books. But it has, and the months of waiting are over. With rave reviews in The Mail on Sunday ("Set to be a modern outdoor classic) and The Bookseller ("sure fire summer seller"), things are looking good for Martin's debut. It's available all over the place and we've got some here too. If you want one they are just £12 a shot.

Copy Monkey Grows Up
We are thrilled to annouce the arrival of Jamie Harper to Copy Monkey Limited. Jamie has been working as a freelance writer for a little while and filled in during the summer of 2009 whilst martin was writing his book. Jamie's arrival at Copy Monkey will make a big difference to the small and friendly team at Copy Monkey HQ and means that lead times will be reduced and capacity increased. Expect more twittering and a whole lot more great work. We will also be recruiting a new CRM campaign champion this month to take care of our clients, contacts and admin. Expect super-efficiency and a very friendly telephone manner.

Children's Hospice online
We've been working with Artavia Advertising for some time so we were thrilled to have the chance to develop copy for their client, the amazing charity, Children's Hospice South West. Their site went live recently. See it here.

Arc Plc are a very nice agency up in the hills of Exmoor. We helped them to write their brochure recently. It's very difficult to write your own stuff! But anyway, when they decided to update their website, they used our copy. Take a peek. It's nice.

Christmas comes early for Superdrug
Christmas came early for us this year. Superdrug asked us to write back of pack copy for 7 of their own label ranges in time for their big Xmas push. 'Ding dong merrily on high' we thought, 'it's a cracker.' Well not quite. To see the results you'll have to wait until...September? October? Oooh the suspense is killing me!

North Devon Food and Drink
Food? Drink? An opportunity to bang on about local produce? A chance to write about local restaurants? You wouldn't have to ask us twice. So when North Devon+ knocked on the door we almost bit their arm off in our enthusiasm. Not that we just care about food and drink but because we were thrilled to have the chance to show what we can do. As a result we just finished their web copy too. Not bad going for a few days in the office.

Big Blue site goes LIVE
Phew! At last, the new web site for Big Blue Surf School has gone live. We've been working with them for almost a year to revamp their design and copy and the site going live is the first part. New logo, new design, it's a radical departure that will set them apart from the competition. We wish them the best of luck.

Bob goes to Crufts
Bob the dog finally got one of his dream jobs. The other one, of course, is as a taste tester in a liver and bacon factory. But, since that day never came, he was pretty happy with researching a dog walking guide for Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire. It came to us through Bluesoup. Martin and Bob went off for a few days of walking and writing for the guide and saw some pretty cool places. Pembrokeshire is nice. Anyway, the guide is off to Crufts to help advertise dog friendly cottages in Wales. What? You thought Bob was going? To Crufts? Looking like that?
